Agreeing to these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Proven Player LLC, a [state] limited liability company at [address] ("we" or "us"). They cover the website at theprovenplayer.com and the ProvenPlayer phone app. By creating an account or using ProvenPlayer, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use ProvenPlayer.

Who can use ProvenPlayer

• You must be 18 or older to make an account.
• You may add a child only if you are their parent or legal guardian.
• Children do not make accounts or sign in. A parent uses ProvenPlayer for them.
• Coaches and program staff use ProvenPlayer for the program they work with, and only for the children linked to it.

Your account

Give us your real name and an email you check. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us at hello@theprovenplayer.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

Your child's record

The parent owns the record. When you add a child, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian and you give the consent described in our Privacy Policy. You decide which programs to link, whether teammates see the player card, and whether to turn on a college profile. You can change any of these choices or delete the record at any time.

Coaches and programs

If you use ProvenPlayer for a program, you agree to these rules:

• Use a child's information only to coach and report on that child, and only while the parent keeps the child linked.
• Record numbers honestly, with the right date and device.
• Have a background check from the last 12 months, recorded by the program owner, before you post, write plans or answer requests.
• Never contact a child privately. A parent is on every message thread, and ProvenPlayer has no private channel with a child.
• Do not copy children's information out of ProvenPlayer for any other use.

What you upload

You keep ownership of the photos, clips, notes and other content you add. You give us permission to store, copy and show that content only as needed to run ProvenPlayer for the people you choose to share it with. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the time backup copies take to expire.

Upload only content you have the right to share. Do not upload content that shows other children in a way their parents would not expect.

Things you may not do

• Harass, threaten or embarrass anyone, or post anything unlawful or sexual.
• Contact a child through ProvenPlayer, or use it to find or reach a child outside of it.
• Enter numbers you know are false, or present self reported numbers as measured.
• Access an account, record or program that is not yours.
• Copy, scrape or resell ProvenPlayer or its data, or try to break its security.

We may remove content or close an account that breaks these rules.

College profiles and recruiting

A college profile shows measured numbers and the clips a parent picks. It opens no earlier than the NCAA contact date for the sport, as a cautious default. We do not contact colleges, we do not promise any recruiting result, and nothing here is advice on NCAA or other eligibility rules. Check the current rules for your sport with your school or the governing body.

Readings and accuracy

Numbers come from the devices and coaches at each program, and each shows its source and date. A number a parent enters is labeled self reported. We do not check the devices or guarantee that any number is correct.

Fees

ProvenPlayer is free during early access. Programs never pay. When family plans start, we will show you the price before you are charged, and you can cancel at any time. Our fees are flat and are never tied to a college placement or a scholarship.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Account, in the app or on the website. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts a child at risk. We will tell you why unless the law or a child's safety stops us.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep ProvenPlayer running and safe, but we provide it as is and cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.

Disputes

The laws of [state] govern these terms. If you have a problem, email us first and we will try to solve it. Any claim that cannot be solved that way will be heard in the state or federal courts of [state].

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using ProvenPlayer after that, the new terms apply.
